Nubuk Fresh is a gentle water-based tint suitable for refreshing and retoning lightly faded napped leathers and buffalo leathers.
• Nubuk Fresh is easy to use and can easily correct slight fading on dark napped leathers. For heavy fading and dark stains on light leathers the covering power is insufficient! Colour changes are not possible!
• Nubuk Fresh can be applied with a sponge, a pump spray bottle or a spray gun. Application by spray gun is always the first choice.
• Nubuk Fresh has a pleasant feel with very good adhesion. Nubuck, velour, aniline and buffalo leather regain their colour freshness after treatment.
Application:
• Always test all products first on a concealed area for any changes!
• Always thoroughly clean and degrease the smooth or nubuck leather to be treated before colouring! If the leather is very greasy, have it dry-cleaned first if possible. Otherwise clean with the degreaser and/or degreasing spray and/or the leather sanding pad. Heavily soiled leathers or leathers saturated with sweat are not suitable for colour refreshing. The tint would not be absorbed evenly and would not adhere sufficiently to the leather fibre.
• Spray Nubuk Fresh thinly from seam to seam and leave to dry. After drying, carefully brush up the surface or rub up with a terry cloth. Repeat as required. Caution with drops — they cause stains. Colour changes or lightening of napped leathers are not possible. On very dark leathers in the automotive and furniture sectors, Nubuk Fresh can also be applied with a sponge.
• Napped leathers — when new — always release a slight amount of colour. Even after treatment with Nubuk Fresh, a white cloth will produce a slight rub-off. This is harmless. If fixation is still desired, Nubuk Fresh Neutral can be applied after the colour refresh. In addition to the impregnation, this also provides additional fixation. For extreme cases, add 1% crosslinker IC2.
• Always follow up nubuck leather treatment with Aniline & Napped Leather Protector and leather impregnation. This conditions the leather, keeps it supple, and re-impregnates the leather.
