Idea: 

Developed in response to repeated requests from our partners and customers, the first Riding Pad from the house of Signum was born. Our goal was to create a product of the highest Signum quality that meets the needs and demands of both horse and rider. Developed in close collaboration with renowned show riders and masters of equestrian art such as Kenzie Dysli, the result is a Riding Pad that impresses from the outset with its unique design and anatomical cut. This Riding Pad sets new standards in comfort and functionality, delivering an innovative solution for a harmonious riding experience. 

Horse: 

Our Riding Pad offers a perfect combination of fit and comfort for your horse. The anatomical cut tapers upward at the front, providing generous clearance over the withers. The flexible construction ensures the product conforms harmoniously to the natural curvature of the horse’s back and promotes freedom of movement. The V-girthing attaches below the spine, providing additional spinal relief. The comfortable padding allows the rider’s weight to be distributed gently and evenly across the horse’s back. 

Particularly in combination with our Velcro Pads (not included in delivery — we recommend purchasing the bundle at the discounted price) the Riding Pad achieves optimal pressure distribution and true spinal clearance, relieving the horse’s back. This carefully considered design allows the horse to move more freely without being hindered by uncomfortable pressure, making every training session and hack a pleasant experience for your horse.

Whether schooling the seat, enjoying a relaxing hack in the countryside, or developing advanced riding lessons in the arena — this Riding Pad is a true all-rounder that combines comfort, safety and functionality. The flat, evenly padded seat allows a free, balanced position in which the rider’s hips can swing naturally. This promotes a relaxed, natural seat, which is especially important for harmonious communication with the horse. The grippy suede surface provides a secure seating feeling even without stirrups. The lateral Comfort Knee Roll gently frames the rider’s leg, encourages a long leg and prevents the leg from riding up, improving balance and the effectiveness of the aids. The narrow seat waist and thin padding on the lateral Saddle Flaps ensure maximum contact with the horse and reinforce the sensation of sitting particularly close to the horse.
