The Flexi-Iron Limited Edition cavesson impresses with its innovative, flexible nose iron that can be adjusted millimetre-precisely at four points to suit any horse’s nose — for flat, pressure-free contact and particularly refined aids. In the exclusive special edition, the headpiece has also been redesigned: the elegant Conde buckles and a decorative browband give the cavesson not only an elegant look, but also improved lateral support and stability. Available in 3 sizes, it is a versatile companion from pony to draught horse for all stages of training and any demands.
The core idea behind the Flexi-Iron is to create a bridle that combines traditional appearance with maximum adaptability. The flexible nose iron follows the precise contour of the nasal bone, prevents uncomfortable pressure points and distributes the contact evenly. This allows the rider to communicate particularly clearly and gently with their horse in groundwork, lunging and ridden work.
The anatomically shaped headpiece of the Flexi-Iron is softly padded and conforms comfortably to the horse’s poll. In the Limited Edition, the special fastening immediately stands out, which together with the fine browband provides additional lateral support without restricting freedom of movement. Attachment loops for bit hangers allow the cavesson to be used in combination with a bit when required.
The noseband itself is fitted with the flexible nose iron, which lies flat and conforms precisely to the nasal bone. Four attachment points allow individual adjustment that effectively prevents pressure peaks. Thanks to the lightweight construction, the cavesson is comfortable to wear and supports clear, refined aids.
The Flexi-Iron Limited Edition is recommended for all training levels: whether young horses in familiarisation, targeted in-hand work, lunging or lateral movements of the High School — the three rings on the noseband offer flexible contact options. The middle ring supports the fine-tuning of lateral movements, while the lateral rings are ideal for in-hand work or lateral rein guidance when riding. With the optional bit hangers, the Flexi-Iron becomes a long-term companion for a wide range of training methods. It also offers the possibility of being used as a sidepull with one pair of reins (not included in delivery).
