Headpiece The headpiece of this cavesson is as light as a rope halter yet offers, through the small rings on the noseband, the versatility of a classic cavesson. This construction allows refined aids to be given and communication with your horse to be refined. The headpiece sits comfortably against the horse’s head, providing maximum comfort and precise control. Noseband The noseband of this cavesson dispenses entirely with a metal arch or chain and is instead designed to be thin and lightweight. The three characteristic rings on the noseband offer flexible attachment options for a light rope or cavesson lunge. In addition, a further ring is attached to the chin strap fastening, so that depending on the exercise and desired contact you can alternate between the rings on the noseband and the ring on the chin strap. This thoughtful design enables precise and refined aids. Recommended for This fine cavesson is ideally suited for horse-and-rider combinations that have already established a good basic communication and wish to refine it further. It is particularly well suited for lessons requiring correct positioning and bend, as it helps to avoid faulty rotation in the poll. Glattleder ist ein hochwertiges Naturmaterial, das durch Nutzung und Pflege seine Charakteristik behält — und mit richtiger Behandlung optimal zur Geltung kommt.
Veränderung der Optik
Auch Glattleder kann im Laufe der Zeit eine leichte Veränderung zeigen: Es kann weicher werden, die Oberfläche kann sich leicht im Glanz oder in der Struktur ändern. Diese Entwicklung ist nicht zwangsläufig ein Qualitätsmangel, sondern kann Ausdruck der natürlichen Materialeigenschaften sein.
Fleckenbildung & Schutz
Glattleder reagiert ebenfalls empfindlich auf Flüssigkeiten, Fett oder Schmutz. Um unschöne Flecken oder Ausbleichen zu vermeiden:
- Vermeiden Sie direkten Kontakt mit Wasser, Fett oder öligen Substanzen.
- Nach jedem Einsatz empfiehlt sich eine sanfte Reinigung, damit Rückstände wie Schweiß oder Staub nicht ins Leder eindringen.
- Nutzen Sie geeignete Pflegeprodukte wie Reiniger, Pflegebalsam oder Lederöl, um das Leder vor Austrocknung und Ausbleichen zu schützen.
Reinigung & Pflege
- Tägliche Reinigung: Entfernen Sie groben Schmutz mit einer weichen Bürste oder einem sauberen Tuch. Danach wischen Sie das Leder mit einem speziellen Pflegetuch ab – so beseitigen Sie Schmutz, Schweiß und Feuchtigkeit, bevor sie Schaden anrichten.

Regelmäßige Pflege:
- Tragen Sie nach der Reinigung sparsam einen geeigneten Pflegebalsam auf, mit einem Schwamm oder Tuch.
- Bei stärkerer Beanspruchung kann ein intensives Lederöl verwendet werden, das tief ins Leder eindringt und rückfettet.
- Lassen Sie die Pflegeprodukte einwirken und polieren Sie anschließend das Leder mit einem weichen Tuch, um überschüssige Produkte zu entfernen und die Oberfläche zu veredeln.
- Besondere Beanspruchung: Stark beanspruchte Bereiche wie Riemen oder Gurte sollten regelmäßig kontrolliert und gepflegt werden, da sie besonders unter Reibung oder Schweiß leiden können.
Lagerung
Die Lagerung spielt eine entscheidende Rolle:
- Bewahren Sie Ihr Glattlederprodukt an einem trockenen, warmem Ort mit guter Belüftung auf, sodass Feuchtigkeit optimal entweichen kann.
- Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung und starke Hitzequellen – diese können das Leder austrocknen oder ausbleichen lassen.
- Eine korrekte Lagerung verhindert Schimmelbildung und erhält die Geschmeidigkeit sowie Stabilität des Leders.
