Terms and Conditions for SIGNUM vouchers

Terms and Conditions for SIGNUM vouchers

1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all vouchers issued by Signum Sattelservice, Heidkampsweg 25, 29640 Schneverdingen (hereinafter "SIGNUM"). Insofar as special conditions apply to individual voucher types, these then precede these "General Terms and Conditions".

2. Data protection
SIGNUM uses personal data exclusively for contract processing. Use for purposes beyond this shall only take place if the consent of the person concerned or a statutory exception exist.

3. Place of jurisdiction, choice of law
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes in the relationship between SIGNUM and a commercial customer is the registered office of SIGNUM. Only German law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

4. Complaints in the event of purchase or exchange
Complaints when purchasing or exchanging a SIGNUM voucher must be made within 14 days of purchase or exchange in order to be able to guarantee the possibility of a traceability. Complaints from 14 days after purchase or exchange will no longer be accepted.

5. Validity period
SIGNUM vouchers are valid during the printed or (in the case of electronic vouchers) electronically transmitted. If no period is specified, the vouchers are valid indefinitely. However, SIGNUM reserves the right to phase out vouchers at a specified time. In this case, the customer will be given the opportunity to submit affected vouchers electronically or by post. He receives the equivalent of this free of any money paid out by bank transfer.

6. Redemption
SIGNUM vouchers can be redeemed in the online shop of Signum Sattelservice or counted towards all services of Signum Sattelservice. Cash payment is not possible. Change cannot be issued. In case of loss of a SIGNUM voucher, no replacement is possible. SIGNUM assumes no liability for costs incurred as a result of a change in the composition of the affiliated partners.

7. Authorization on redemption
SIGNUM is not obligated to check the eligibility of a voucher redeemer beyond checking the validity of the redemption code. The holder of the voucher must therefore ensure that the voucher and/or the redemption code does not come into the power of ineligible third parties and inform SIGNUM immediately if there is at least a possibility that this has nevertheless been done. For a voucher redeemed by an unauthorized person, Section 793 (1) p. 2 of the German Civil Code shall apply accordingly.

8. Fulfillment
When purchasing a SIGNUM voucher, the place of performance is the registered office of SIGNUM at the time of purchase or exchange. If a voucher is not issued electronically but in embodied form to the redeemer, the risk of accidental loss and the risk of loss of the consigned voucher shall pass to the buyer or redeemer in accordance with Section 447 of the German Civil Code (BGB) with delivery to the person or institution designated to carry out the shipment.

9. Multiple redemption
An abusive or multiple redemption of a SIGNUM voucher will be prosecuted. This explicitly includes an attempt to redeem abusively or multiple times.

10. Corporate customers
Corporate customers are not permitted to resell purchased SIGNUM vouchers to private end customers or commercial users. Exceptions require the written consent of SIGNUM.
