Semi-Cavesson

This Semi Cavesson is the perfect addition to a snaffle and double bridle as a real all-rounder. The Semi Cavesson is buckled in place of the normal noseband and allows a fine influence of the rider's hand via a fine and especially soft padded noseband. A lunge line or the reins can be buckled into the three rings on the Semi Cavesson. In addition to the three rings on the noseband, there is a further ring for hooking a rope or lunge in the lead position at the bottom centre of the noseband fastener. The core of the noseband consists of a link chain, which is especially softly padded and covered with non-slip leather.

The Semi Cavesson is precise in its effect due to the narrow noseband with integrated link chain, but softer and lighter than a Spanish sereta or a German cavesson. In combination with a snaffle bridle, the rings on the noseband allow bitless action via one pair of reins, purely via the noseband, or in combination with a double bridle, action via two pairs of reins via the noseband and an additional buckled-in bit.
